How do creators get paid?
Sign in, go to the Creator Dashboard, and upload your session plans. Every time a subscriber accesses one of your sessions in a month, that counts as one credit (the same subscriber opening the same session twice still counts as one). At month-end, 50% of all subscription revenue is divided among creators proportionally by credits. Your share = your credits ÷ total credits × the creator pool.
Do I need to be exclusive?
No. Sell your sessions on TeachersPayTeachers, Gumroad, your own site, anywhere. FCD is non-exclusive on purpose. Coaches who already sell elsewhere just add FCD as another channel.
What does it cost to upload?
Nothing. Free to join, free to upload, no listing fee, no take-rate above the 50% pool split. Minimum payout is $50 — once you cross that threshold the next monthly cycle pays you out.
Why do I need to subscribe to use the library?
The $20/month subscription is what funds the creator pool. Without it there is no money to pay coaches who upload. Two sessions a month are free for browsers; full library access requires subscribing.
Can I still browse the directory of tools without subscribing?
Yes. The tool directory is completely free to browse, search, upvote, and submit to. The subscription only gates the session library, not the tool listings.
How are tool listings ranked?
Listings are ranked by a composite score that considers click-throughs (40%), community upvotes (30%), recency (20%), and profile completeness (10%). Scores update automatically.
How do I submit a tool to FCD?
Sign in with Google, click "Submit a Listing", and fill in the details about your tool or resource. Every submission is reviewed before going live to keep quality high.
