To improve players' ability to combine with teammates using quick 1-2 passes, finish effectively under pressure, and transition into defensive recovery in a 1v1 situation.
Setup: • Use a rectangular grid with one full-sized goal and a goalkeeper. • Position Player 1, Player 2, and Player 3 as shown in the diagram. Execution: • Player 1 starts the sequence by passing to Player 2. • Player 2 sets the ball back to Player 1, who finishes. • As soon as Player 1 shoots, Player 3 begins dribbling toward the mini goals, with Player 1 transitioning to defend in a 1v1 situation. • If Player 1 wins the ball, they can attack the big goal. Rotation: • Rotate players after each sequence: 1 → 2 → 3. Progression: • Make Player 2 sprint to the line and recover to defend against Player 3 (1v2). • Add time constraints for finishing to increase intensity.
