1v1 - Defensive 3rd

To improve players' ability to play under pressure, make quick decisions, and exploit space effectively when receiving and defending against side pressure.

Setup: - Divide the field as shown in the diagram with cones marking scoring zones. - Assign players into two teams: Black and Green. Execution: - Black starts by passing to Green. - Green immediately returns the ball to Black in a 1-2 combination. - After passing back, the Green player transitions to defend 1v1 against Black. - Black must drive forward to score in one of the zones (1-point or 2-point zones). Scoring: - Players earn points by successfully scoring in the marked zones. - Defenders earn points by winning the ball and scoring in the big goal. Progressions: - Allow a third player to help either the attacker or the defender, adding complexity. - Rotate roles after every turn and switch sides every 5 minutes.
