• Create angles – don't stand flat; open your body to see both ends. • Support distance – be close enough for the bounce, but far enough to escape pressure. • Scan before receiving – identify pressure and space. • Timing of pass – don't rush the bounce, wait for the third man movement. • Use of the extra man – play quickly off the neutral and follow movement into the next space. • Body shape – always open to play forward or sideways.
