Two teams of three players; 3v3 in grid with 4 neutral players on the outside, one on each side. When a team has ball possession they play 7v3. If you have a goalkeeper then I suggest making the game three teams of three players, plus one goal keeper at the top of the grid. This allows you to quickly swap teams from neutral to active after set times or loss of possession. The aim of the Rondo is to work possession of the ball via one neutral at the top of the area to other. Each time this happens, the team in possession gains a point. Swap the neutral players every 5 minutes or when a team gains 5 points. The aim of the Small Sided Game is to score in the mini goals a possession team is attacking. You can switch the neutral team with the team who conceded every 5 goals or every goal. Every goal will increase the intensity and tempo of the session as defending teams know if they concede then they will be off the pitch.
