Attackers - Possession with a purpose is key. - Think forward, look forward, play forward. - Move the ball. Defenders - Press Aggressively, but with intent. Wait for a pass back or a loose touch. - First Defender presses, and shows the player on the ball one way to make the pass predictable. - Other defender provides cover & immediately press the predictable pass. Attacking Transition - Player who wins the ball is the most vulnerable. They will be pressed. - Immediately so release the ball quickly. Defensive Transitions - Change of attitude to aggressive defence. - Player who wins the ball is the most vulnerable.
