5v5+4 With Transition

To develop players' ability to transition quickly between attack and defence while maintaining team shape and exploiting numerical advantages.

• Use a rectangular pitch divided into halves. • Assign 5 players each to two teams (Blue & Green) & 4 neutral players. • Place 2 mini goals at either end of the pitch. • The game starts with the Blue team. • Blue must progress the ball through the Green players to the top Green, who transition into the attacking phase by passing to the Black team. • The Blue team transitions to defend & the Blacks attack the mini goals. • The Blue team score by transitioning successfully from bottom green to top green and Black team score by finishing in the mini goals. • Swap team scoring mechanism around after a set time.
