Objective
Improved ability to switch play, close off the centre of the pitch, and shift across to prevent penetration.
Coaching points
The game starts with two teams (6v6) and 1 neutral. One team attacks the big goal and the other attacks the smaller wide goals. The game always starts with the goalkeeper in the big goal. The aim is to progress the ball from the goalkeeper into the mini goals. If the defenders win the ball, they attack the big goal at pace. Swap teams around after a set time.
