CB Passing

Improved ability to build up and penetrate via the Centre Back. Improved defending of the centre of the pitch.

The game begins with two teams playing against each other on a half-pitch. Both teams aim to score in their opponent's goal. Only the centre-backs (CBs) from the blue team can score in the mini goals. After a set time, switch roles, allowing the red CBs to score in the mini goals. Encourage players to consider how the mini goals affect defensive strategies and how the attacking team can exploit this setup. Once both teams have had a turn with the mini goals, remove them and observe how this changes the centre-backs’ passing decisions and the flow of the game.
