• In Possession (Attacking Team): • • Play with quick tempo to move the defensive block. • • Use diagonal passes and positional rotations to create gaps centrally. • • Scan before passing into the target player, check for pressure. • Out of Possession (Defending Team): • • Protect the central channel, force the ball wide. • • Work as a compact unit to shift laterally. • • Closest defender presses, support players screen the middle. • • Communicate constantly to track movement behind. • Transitional Moments: • • If possession is lost, react immediately to delay or prevent the forward pass. • • If possession is won, look forward quickly to exploit open spaces. • Target Player: • • Stay active and on your toes behind the line. • • Time your movement to arrive in the pocket, not stand still. • • Attack speed and awareness once the ball is received. • • Decision-making: choose the goal based on defender’s positioning.
