• The game is played on a narrow, full-length pitch to restrict wide space and force central play. • Players are free to rotate and move fluidly within the game structure. • The coach starts play from either goalkeeper, with both teams in shape. You can choose the number of players you place on each team (doesn’t have to be 7v7). • If the ball goes out, the play restarts from the goalkeeper of the team in possession. • Combinations are encouraged in build-up and attacking phases, such as bounce passes, third-man runs, and give-and-gos. • On loss of possession, teams must counter-press immediately or recover into compact defensive shape. • When teams win the ball, they are encouraged to play forward quickly to exploit disorganisation.
