Setup: • A full-size goal with a goalkeeper. • At least three players (1, 2, and 3) involved in the exercise. • A small target goal positioned wide for variation in finishing options. Execution: • Player 1 starts the exercise, passing to Player 2, who bounces the ball back. • Player 2 will start to drop into the space behind them, dropping left or right. • Player 1 will then play a pass to Player 2, who should beyond the pole. • Player 2 should take their first touch pass the pole and break the line. • Player 2 then plays a deeper pass to Player 1, who lays the ball off for Player 2. • Player 2 comes onto the layoff and finishes first time. • Player 3 immediately sets the ball in front of the mini goal. • Player 1 should sprint after the ball and finish in the mini goal first time. • Rotate positions each turn.
