Crossing and Finishing

Enhance attacking play through varied crossing techniques, combination play, and finishing under pressure.

• Two wide channels (left and right) with designated crossers. • Attackers positioned in the box to finish deliveries. • Mannequin positioned in wide areas for wingers to beat. • Left Side Combination Play: • The wide player receives the ball and combines with a teammate for a 1-2 passing sequence. • After the combination, the player delivers a cross into the box. • At least two attackers must time their runs for the cross. • Right Side 1v1 Crossing: • The winger receives the ball and engages the mannequin 1v1. • Once past the defender, the winger delivers a cross into the box. • Again, two attackers must be in the box to finish. • Progression: • Introduce a live defender inside the box to challenge the attackers.
