Crossing and Finishing

Enhance attacking play through varied crossing techniques, combination play, and finishing under pressure.

Quality of Delivery – Crosses should be accurate and purposeful. Attacking Runs – Strikers must time their movements to attack different spaces (near post, central, far post). Decision Making – Wingers should read the defender and choose between a 1v1 dribble or a combination play. Finishing Variety – Encourage different finishes (headers, volleys, one-touch strikes). Communication – Attackers should signal their movements to the crosser.
