Develop fluid attacking combinations using double 1-2s to support quick progression through midfield and into advanced areas
• This is a structured technical passing pattern involving three plus players • The ball starts with Player A, who plays a pass into Player B • Player B plays the ball into Player C • Player A follows their pass and supports the pass into player C (the dotted line) • Player C passes to Player A, who is on the run (first 1-2) • Player A immediately plays the sets the ball back to Player C • Player C plays the ball forward into the path of Player A, who continues their forward run (second 1-2) • Player A then plays a final pass into the mini goal • The rotation is that Player C goes to B’s position, B goes to A’s, and A goes to C’s • Ensure both left and right-sided combinations are rehearsed
