Improve on receiving in potential 1-2 situations.
On the initial bounce pass • Play the pass to the back foot (the one furthest away from the mannequin) of the receiver. • Bounce the pass back into your teammate’s backfoot so he can play the next pass in one touch. Receiving the pass behind the mannequin • Receive the ball with the back foot so you can take the ball with you into the dribble. Dribbling • Large touches to gain space, small touches as you approach the cone so you can turn it quickly while keeping control of the ball. The longer pass to start the sequence again • Play the pass the the next player’s front foot (one closest to you) so they can play the first pass in the 1-2 quickly.
