To prepare players physically and technically for training through a structured warm up that blends dynamic movement with individual ball mastery. This improves coordination, footwork, and control while encouraging early focus and rhythm.
• Players work in pairs, with one ball between two. • The player with the ball performs a ball mastery skill for 20 seconds. • The partner without the ball completes a dynamic movement (e.g. jogging, shuffles, high knees). • After 20 seconds, the coach blows the whistle and players pass the ball to their partner, who then performs the next skill. • This continues through 10 total skills. • Skill 8 can see the player without the ball do any dynamic exercise for 30 seconds, or they can rest. • Skills 9 and 10 see the players/partners working together.
