End Zone Playmakers

To improve players' ability to break defensive lines through accurate passing, movement off the ball, and composure in front of goal, while emphasising teamwork and creativity in attacking play.

• Organise the game as a 5v5 with one neutral player (5v5+1). • Place one player from each team in their respective end zones. These players act as the target players. • Teams aim to work the ball to their teammate in the end zone. • The end zone player must control the ball and lay it off to an oncoming teammate to attempt a finish in the goal. • The end zone player cannot leave their designated zone. • Players on the field must use combination play to break defensive lines and feed the ball into the end zone. • After the layoff, the teammate must take a shot at goal. • Limit the number of touches for players on the ball. • Rotate the end zone players regularly to keep all players involved.
