Exercise 1: • 4 players dribble around the outside with a ball, with one player in the middle with a ball. • Player in the middle will ask for the ball from an outside player. • Players will play a 1-2 around the cone. • Swap players every 30-60 seconds. Exercise 2: • Same setup as drill 1, but take away a ball. • Player in the middle will ask for the ball from an outside player and then transfer to a free player. • Swap players every 30-60 seconds. Exercise 3: • Same setup as drill 2, but take away a ball. • Player in the middle will ask for the ball from an outside player and then transfer to a free player, who transfers to the ball forward to the other free player. • Swap players every 30-60 seconds. 4v4+3 • An excellent opposed game to practice the combinations. • Teams get a point each time they play from end player to end player.
