To improve midfield play by developing passing combinations, movement, and positional awareness in a game-realistic setting.
• Create a square to replicate a midfield zone. • Bib up two teams of three outfield players each (Blue and Black). • Players act as midfielders. • Two neutral players are positioned on each end line. • The game starts with one Yellow passing to the Blue or Black team, who must work the ball through midfield and pass to the opposite end Yellow. • Once the Yellow receives, they continue to play with the team in possession, and this team must work the ball to the original Yellow. This counts as a point. • If the defending team wins possession, they must do the same thing (work to yellows). • Game is continuous, emphasizing quick transitions, ball retention, and intelligent movement.
