Improve players' ability to handle pressure from different directions, make quick decisions, and transition between defensive and attacking phases.
• Set up three different small-sided games across the middle of the pitch. • Divide the area into three zones, each with a different challenge. • Players are split into two teams: one in black and one in blue. • Game 1: The black team must complete a set number of passes before scoring in one of the mini-goals. If the blue team wins possession, they must dribble through a designated gate to transition play. • Game 2: A black player plays a pass into a teammate under pressure from a defender. The receiving player must turn and drive through a gate to escape. If the blue team wins the ball, they transition by dribbling through a gate. • Game 3: A wide goal-scoring game where the attacking team looks to exploit width and create chances under defensive pressure.
