Support Angles: • Midfielders must create angles to receive behind or between pressing opponents. Body Shape Under Pressure: • Ensure players are side-on and can play forward in one touch if needed. Breaking Lines: • Passes should eliminate opponents, prioritise vertical over lateral where safe. Trigger Movements: • A CB stepping in may trigger midfield drops or wide player movements to receive.
