Setup: • Use the final third of the pitch with a goal and goalkeeper. • You will need a rebounder, coach, or player to exchange passes with and a feeder to deliver high balls into the box. • Mark out key movement areas with cones to guide positioning. Execution: 1. Phase 1: The player exchanges passes with a rebounder or coach to simulate a loose ball breaking to them inside the box. ◦ The striker must adjust their body to get the ball under control and finish within two touches. 2. Phase 2: The player moves towards the back post to attack a high ball from the coach or parent. ◦ The striker must time their movement and head the ball into the net from close range.
