Unopposed practice to enhance receiving, driving at defenders, and finishing.
For A’s initial pass, if they are struggling to make the distance, they can roll the ball forward a bit with the sole of the foot. B should assess the flight of the ball, adjust and then move into the ball to control it. B’s first touch should be towards the mannequin. If B is going to dribble past the mannequin with a move then they should go into the move slow and out fast. If playing a 1-2 then B needs to play to the Red player’s backfoot so they can play one touch into the space. When driving towards the goal, they can use the laces part of their foot to gain speed with the ball. Can B mix up the finishes? Can B use the red player to disguise their intentions (fake to pass and then beat the player)?
