To improve players’ ability to carry the ball at speed over distance and execute passes or combinations under realistic game-like pressure.
Set up a directional circuit across the width of the pitch. Each group works in lanes marked by cones and mannequins. Flow: - Player A begins with a fast dribble towards the mannequin, focusing on controlled acceleration. - At the end of the dribble, the player turns the mannequin/changes direction so they are facing the player to their right (as they were dribbling), which is Player B. - Player A passes to B, who receives and dribbles through the cones to towards Player C. - Player B passes to C, who drives forward to restart the sequence. - All players rotate positions clockwise: A → B → C → start again. Multiple groups run the same pattern in mirrored lanes to create rhythm and repetition. Vary the passes, bounce, takeover, 1-2, etc.
