To improve players’ ability to combine with teammates in wide areas using third-man runs and deliver accurate crosses into the box, followed by decisive finishing actions.
Setup: - Use the final third with one full-size goal and a goalkeeper. - Position players in groups of three on both flanks (Players A, B, and C). - Mark out mannequin zones to represent passive defenders. - Rotate roles after each attempt. Pattern (Left Side): 1. A passes to B, who sets the ball back to A. 2. A then switches play to C, who delivers a first-time cross into the area. 3. B makes a run into the box to finish the cross. Pattern (Right Side): 1. A passes to B, who plays back to A. 2. A then plays to C, who dribbles and crosses. 3. B again attacks the cross in the box. Players rotate through positions A → B → C after each cycle.
